At Drew Primary School we are proud of our inclusive and enriching curriculum. The motto that informs our approach to learning is, 'Learning today for tomorrow's world.'

We prioritise language development through a collaborative, talk-rich approach to teaching and learning, such as through using Talk4Writing and Maths No Problem as vehicles for teaching English and Maths. In addition, we apply research around models of memory to the design and teaching of our curriculum so it is coherently planned and sequenced, and ensures that children have opportunities to retrieve, build on and articulate their learning. 

Meaningful experiences enrich, engage and extend children’s learning further to influence how they see themselves in the world. Our ambition is for all pupils.
