Thinkuknow have create a page to support parents during COVID-19 and the closure of schools. Each fortnight, they will be releasing new home activity packs with simple 15 minute activities you can do with your child to support their online safety at a time when they will spending more time online at home.

How to help your children with their reading whilst at home

We have created  an information sheet for you with ideas and websites to help you support your child in their reading while they are at home. 

World Book Day - Activity of the Week. 

World Book Day have a ginormous bank of free resources available so please check them out, if you haven’t already. All related to your favourite books, they have craft activities, games, discussion guides and more for every age.

Their activity of the week is The Day The Crayons Quit activity guide. With ideas for creating a rainbow salad, writing your own letter to the crayons and colour mixing to keep you busy all day, you can download it here.

They also have a whole section of our website dedicated to all the amazing ideas for celebrating reading for pleasure that have been shared with us over the years.
